«Self Life Drawing» is an autobiographical reflection on identity which investigates stereotypical images of women, as represented by Korean Confucianism and its concomitant restrictions. The means she uses are video, text, sound and around 70 drawings of a stone. With unique visual power and great poetry, Jeong tells the story of her name, the life story of her mother, her memories and wishes and combines the various elements into a touching approach to her own self.
